This weekend, we had a hilarious time trying to nail that perfect disc golf shot. With my camera guy Ritter stepping into the spotlight, we aimed for some fun and laughter on the course. Spoiler alert: it didn’t go as smoothly as planned!

Key Takeaways

  • Disc golf can be tricky, even for the pros.

  • Having a good laugh is just as important as making the shot.

  • Practice makes perfect, but sometimes you just need to enjoy the moment.

The Setup

So, here we are, ready to capture some epic disc golf moments. Ritter, my trusty camera guy, was all set to take his shot. I told him to put the camera down and just go for it. Simple, right? Well, not quite.

Ritter was a bit nervous, but I encouraged him to get closer to the basket. I mean, how hard could it be? Just toss it in! But as you can guess, it wasn’t that easy.

The First Attempt

Ritter took his first shot, and it was... well, let’s just say it was close but no cigar. He threw the disc, and it sailed right past the basket. I could see the determination on his face, but also a hint of frustration.

"Try it again! You’re almost there!" I cheered him on.

The Second Attempt

With a little more confidence, Ritter lined up for another shot. This time, he was right on target. He tossed it, and it was a near miss again. I couldn’t help but laugh.

"You’re literally right here! Just toss it in!" I shouted, trying to keep the mood light.

The Final Shot

After a few more attempts, Ritter finally got it! He threw the disc with a bit more power, and it landed right in the basket. We both cheered, and I captured the moment on camera.

"Yay! We got it!" I exclaimed, feeling the excitement.

The Reality Check

But let’s be real, Ritter isn’t exactly a disc golf pro. He admitted, "I’m not good at frisbee golf, no I’m not." And honestly, that’s okay! The fun we had was worth more than any perfect shot.

Conclusion

In the end, it’s not just about making the perfect shot. It’s about enjoying the time spent with friends, sharing laughs, and making memories. So, if you ever find yourself struggling on the disc golf course, just remember: it’s all about having fun!
